Origin: The Knight's Templar began two millennium ago when Vasili Troynakov and his band of Feudal-teched soldiers defeated an attack from the forces of Chaos on his homeworld Solstice, the same homeworld in which the missionary Uriah Jacobus became famous for defeating an infestation of Tyranid genestealers. The Imperium heard of this amazing feat, and recruited him into Space Marines. Vasili was the aide of a Chapter Master, Leonard Raer, of the Crusaders. Vasili and Leonard became very close, and Vasili learned everything he knew from watching his Chapter Master in battle. Then, during the battle on the planet Gemnia II, the mining planet in the Virgil subsector of Hehrm, the Crusaders were ambushed by a large Chaos force. Although victorious, Leonard was slain in the battle, and before his death honored Vasili, making him Chapter Master of the Crusaders. Vasili took the name of the Chapter, Crusaders, and turned it into the Knight's Templar, a group of religious warrior knights from the planet Earth, who did good in all they did, and always tried to vanquish evil. Vasili ensured that all of his men were deeply religious, clean-minded, and obediant, just as the Crusaders were. The Knight's Templar are now well known for their strict religious laws, their fearsome battle tactics, and their relentlessness for purging the universe of darkness and chaos.
